| I just know you're local, and there aren't that many dealers, so I am afraid it's also my dealer! And was curious why you were unhappy with how they've handled it. If you want to send me a PM so it's not public, that would be cool. If not, no worries, I'll wonder in silence! | | | \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\///////////////

| OK, that narrows it down to three in this general area, but you eliminated mine, so I guess I needn't narrow it down further.
Hope things get better for you, soon. | | | \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\///////////////

| Leaving Snohomish tomorrow (Sat) at 9:00AM, headed for Walker. I'll look for any replies here. I'll be at WV at about 10:00AM. Look for this RZR: | | | \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\///////////////

| Didn't connect up with anyone at WV. Had a great (fairly short) day. Managed to get in front of a long line of jeeps/trucks on the way up to Upper Mainline just in time, so we had a clear run at it.
The RZR couldn't squeeze around the huge rock on Upper Mainline, so I had to put one wheel way up on the rock and the other wheel in the groove, and hope I didn't tip over.
I'm happy with the RZR S despite the extra width. On the one hand, the 50" RZR would get me more places at WV, but on the other hand, when I was climbing over that rock, it never once felt like it was going to tip. I felt firmly planted on the ground all the way over that rock, despite being at a pretty sharp angle. It took three runs at it to get the wheels planted in the right spot, but once I got just the right track, it was a bit anti-climactic. Wish one of us would have been recording video though. Next time.
We couldn't get to Split Rock. There's still quite a bit of snow pack, and since it's so dense and heavy, the rigs can't push it out of the way. It's not smooth enough to try and float on the top crust, and there's not much of a crust because it's so warm. So we just sunk right in and lost our forward momentum.
The weather was gorgeous. We did good to get in and out early, it was starting to get pretty crowded when we left.
No pictures, we were having too much fun to stop and take pictures! | | | \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\///////////////

| OK, I lied. I do have some photos.
When putting the RZR away, I noticed that the lid to a storage box under the driver's seat was skewed. I took the seat off to have a closer look and fix it, and found what you see in the pics below.
I've decided to take a closer look at a set of UHMW (ultra heavy weight material) plastic skid plates. | | | \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\///////////////

| Nice pics! LOL! I managed to FINALLY get mine dropped of for repairs. Hoping to get it back & put it thrugh it's paces this coming weekend. It is probably wishful thinking on my part.
You will NOT be disappointed on the UHMW plastic skid plates. They are great! I bought the 3/8 thick.....thought about the 1/2 but it still looks new after one run at WV! | | | |

| Hey, Paka - What do you think about finding Day Lake this weekend? Weather looks good!
Wait, never mind, there's still too much snow up there. | | | \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\///////////////

| Upper gate? I only know of two entrances that the RZR will fit through - both ends of Peter Burns Rd. There's another entrance on Lake Cavanaugh Rd with some big concrete blocks. The RZR will not fit through there so I can only go when the gate is open and don't have any way to know when that is.
As far as something being gnarly, I say to that: Bring it ON!
It looks like I'm going to E. WA this weekend, and there's still snow in the higher spots of Walker that is deep and super-heavy. Stopped my Grizzly dead in its tracks. It's funny - I can get to Split Rock with a foot and a half of fluffy snow in February, but not with a foot of hard packed stuff in April.
Once the snow is gone, I am all over exploring the upper reaches of WV. Right now, it seems that the hardest part of WV is that big rock on Upper Mainline. If there's gnarlier stuff than that, I'm interested. | | | \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\///////////////
