| I would probably be interested in such a trip. Is there a new thread for it? |

| Firepit hog! Guess I should make the call and reserve my favorite spot. We should start a new thread for the new trip. |

| Another superb trip to Conconully, thank you all for the rides and the FOOD. Lots of food and those Ribs rocked Steve. Some good camp fires at the pits this time too, although the group keeps going and the pit is going to have to expand to accommodate everyone. I left a few times to allow others and went and hung out in the SHE cave, LOL, also known as the Redneck deck. I do hope we all make it in the fall but there is a conflict of dates as fall is posted as the 16, 17 and 18th which is after Labor Day. Also someone was saying most of Cozy Cabins is already book for Labor day and I am betting 16through 18th is open. Just a thought.
I had a lot of fun, thanks to everyone who came. William.

| The firepit area is too small for a bigger fire. I would have heaped it on there, but we could not have moved the chairs further back, and it would have cooked us. |

| thx for the reminder William, I had forgot to mention a highlight of also being invited into the testosterone free zone aka the she cave.
I haven't stayed up that late so many nights since my college days.
Alot of "interesting" topics of conversation there.
Thx Sadie, Katie (sp?), Eric, and William for some interesting evening conversations. |

| POTLUCK
The word pot-luck appears in 16th century England, in the work of Thomas Nashe, and was there used to mean "food provided for an unexpected or uninvited guest, the luck of the pot". The sense "communal meal, where guests bring their own food", appears to have originated in the late 19th century or early 20th century US, particularly in the Western United States, either by influence from potlatch or possibly by extension of traditional sense of "luck of the pot".
To the Irish, a potluck was a meal with no particular menu. Everyone participating brought a dish for all to share. The term comes from a time when groups of Irish women would gather together and cook dinner. They only had one pot so they cooked the meal together with whatever ingredients they happened to have that day.
