when you first turn left into Evans Creek off of Mowich Road.

You can park there, and trail 311 (Hells Gate) is there.

As a parting bonus, I received a warning citation about not having a Forest Pass.  

Odd, it was right there hanging on my rear View Mirror, same as in Steve's truck.

So I had to stop by the Burnett store with the citation, they had to make a copy of my pass, and away I went.

I really wanted to leave a note with it, something along the lines of snakes, and getting bit in the ass,, but decided not to.

was wondering how the parking thing worked out jeff, the only thing that would have topped it off would have been a block of cheese sandwitch !

and given a piece of my mind. However your better man than I and didn't. The Fact is they do carry Big Bore Guns, for protection from Bears and Mtn. lions, HE HE HE :}

Actually, only some rangers carry weapons, most dont, as they aren't LE trained.
