| Is there a reason we cannot load any more pictures into the gallery. I have made several different attempts and they seem to load but then they are not there to be found. Any ideas?

| I'd love to be able to use the gallery. I've posted some threads with links to the pics on my own website, but sometimes I clean out the "misc" folder and don't want the NQA forum to have broken links in my old posts. Once before, I asked the admin to download my pics and post them in the gallery because I wasn't able to. He did so for the ones I asked about, but I have linked more since. I didn't try the gallery lately. S'pose I should do that before I post this, but reading what other people have said, it's a good bet it's still broken at this time. | | \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\/////////////// 2007 Yamaha Grizzly 700 ---2010 Polaris RZR S--- | |

| My issue is that I don't seem to have access to any controls, so I cannot even try to upload things. Maybe there is a flag that has not been set to allow me to post images to the gallery?

| I'VE TRIED 4 DIFFERENT SIZES AND FORMATS AND IT JUST ISNT WORKING. Don't know wtf happened to our website but we need somebody that knows whats going on. Maybe bring it up at the next meeting we hire a part time webmaster like one day every 3 months? If we're always gonna have to fight with this thing then i dont see the point. | | | |

The point is that when we're not fighting it, then it is providing a great mechanism for us to talk about stuff and be a community. I suppose we could all join FaceBook or something, but... I am not a webmaster, but I am a network consultant who occasionally dabbles in webby stuff. I have a friend who rides with me and it better at webby stuff. He might be willing to help me look around a bit. I can't promise anything, but I could take a look at it and see what I find, if given the keys.

| I have no desire to fight about it, I simply want it to work as advertised. Not being able to Register on the site is not acceptable. Not being able to access other members or upload pics etc is not acceptable as well. If it says you can join the club and pay with paypal, but can't, well guess what. These things should all be a very basic fix. Am i wrong?? | | | |

| Didn't mean to give the impression that I wanted to fight about it either. Was just trying to add some perspective.
These are definitely problems, no argument there.
Whether they are simple fixes is another matter. It is easy to look at a problem and say "That should be a simple fix" when one does not understand the technology involved. I am guilty of doing this myself from time to time. | | \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\/////////////// 2007 Yamaha Grizzly 700 ---2010 Polaris RZR S--- | |

| Please be my guest and bring this up at the meeting on Sunday, it does need to be discussed and resolved. Lets see where the break down is and resolve it. I believe the pay pal issue is being worked but do to banking issue it has been prolonged. I am hoping we will get an update Sunday to see where we are at. If we do not find out at the meeting I will personally pursue it. William. | | | |

| I thought the picture thing was fixed. I do know that you have to be logged in to post pictures to the Gallery. I will ask Sean to take another look | | 2010 Polaris Sportsman 800 EFI Ride It Like You Stole It! | |

| I just looked again, and there are some controls in the Gallery that I didn't see before. I've now successfully uploaded some photos. Wasn't able to create a new album, but I was able to put them in the "Misc" existing album.
Unfortunately, now I can't figure out how to embed them in a post (at least not the way it is normally done in a forum).
There seems to be a new post editor, which has lots of nifty tools and is resizable, which is awesome - but when I click the Picture Manager icon, it shows me images and other files that look as if they are in the system folder for the forum itself, and not items that are in the gallery.
See http://bruteforcetech.com/misc/imagemanager.jpg for what I see when I click that button.
I can click the "HTML" link at the bottom of the editor to view the HTML code, then go look at the gallery and grab the URL to the image I want and embed an image tag into the HTML of the post, but that's a lot of work, and more than most users will be able to do.
